3. Trinity Price (and Kimberly Harris) In The 400
- - -
As a freshman last season, Price finished No. 28 in the country with a best of 53.95 seconds in the 400m. That mark was second among all freshman.
It was easy to see what kind of potential Price had in the quarter.
So her second races at the distance in 2019 at the Gwinnett-led meet produced a steady improvement from her season debut (58.46) and saw her go under 57 seconds in consecutive rounds to win in 56.43 seconds -- Kimberly Harris, meanwhile, is just getting back into gear and bowed out of the finals.
While Price may not be the best quarter-miler in Georgia this outdoor campaign -- that honor goes to the New Balance Nationals Indoor champ Harris -- she certainly is one with great upside.
Price could make waves in 2019.
