New US No. 1's All Around In 3K Race Walk
The boys and girls 3K race walk champions set the new US No. 1 marks in the race walk on Saturday. In the girls race Jesi Heiser-whatley, a senior from Riverside, South Carolina, raced a 14:50.50 for a new US No. 1 mark. In the boys race, Sean Glaze a sophomore from Greenon, Ohio, took home the title completing the race in 14:24.95 also a new US No. 1.
Margaret Atwood from Sachem East, North Carolina, placed second in the girls race going 14:55.36 while Isabella Rogler from West Islip, North Carolina, placed third in 14:59.16. Legacy Athletics (NC) Jordan Crawford and Baltimore Poly High School's (NC) Jadon Davis placed second and third in the boys race in 14:27.05 and 14:59.63, respectively.
