The Top 10 Track And Field Recruiting Classes Of 2018

No. 6: University of Michigan

Recruits: Maddy Denner, Asani Hampton, John Meyer, Anne Forsyth, Cole Johnson, Olivia Theis, Megan Worrel, John Tatter

The Skinny: The Wolverines certainly recruited depth. In distance, they nabbed one of North Carolina's best in John Tatter, Michigan's top girl in Olivia Theis, and top boy in Cole Johnson, as well as California's high achieving stud Maddy Denner. In the sprints, Asani Hampton, who's split 10.47 seconds wind-legal in the 100m, has the potential to score some incredible times this spring season, while in the throws Meyer will go down arguably as one of the top athletes in the country. Theis has gone 4:50 in the 1600m and 10:30 in the 3200m, while Johnson, who can split 51 seconds in the 400m and has gone 1:50 in the 800m, will make a case for going under 4:05 in the 1600m in 2018. His best is 4:08.60.
