While the girls race doesn't feature as many out-of-state athletes as the boys field, the girls feature national talent Katelynne Hart of Glenbard West (IL), Camila Noe of Bozeman (MT), Annie Hill of Glacier (MT) and Alyssa Aldridge of Mainland Regional (NJ).

A total of 13 girls broke 10:30 in 2017 and Hill remains the top returner, having finished fourth in this race a year ago.
Expect a battle throughout.
