Ashton Allen is a rising sophomore from Potomac, Maryland, who runs for I5 Elite over the summer. During the high school season, Allen finished no worse than eighth in a 400m race. This includes New Balance Nationals Outdoor where he won the freshmen 400m race running 47.62. In the 200m he holds a PR of 21.83 from the Bojangles Track and Field Classic. This past spring as a freshman he really began to make a name for himself. He will be one to watch for sure at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.

Breakdown: Ashton Allen crushed it at last year's AAU Junior Olympic Games. He was the 14-year-old age group champion in the 200m and helped his team win 4x100m and 4x400m national titles. This year he comes in with the fastest seed time in the boys 15-16-year-old 200m and 400m. Allen ran 21.23 for 200m and 47.53 for 400m to claim those top seed times. We should also expect to see him on his clubs relay teams as well.
