Utah-Native Hunter Woodhall Advances to the 400m Final with Ease

Hunter Woodhall was all business today in Rio de Janeiro at the 2016 Paralympic Games as he advanced to the final by absolutely demolishing the field in his semifinal with an easy 48.82 win. Behind him, and also qualifying for the final, was his Team USA teammate Nick Rogers, who ran a PB of 49.45. Aj Digby, another American, will join them in the final. He recorded a mark of 48.90 to qualify.

On Monday, September 12, Woodhall went on a wild ride as he anchored the USA T-42/47 4x100m relay. He helped Team USA set a new world record of 40.61, but later found out they were disqualified for an error in the second exchange.

Woodhall bounced back big in the 200m final later that same day. His new PB of 21.12 was enough to earn a silver medal in the men's T-44 200m final.

Check in tomorrow to see if Woodhall can earn his second medal in the 400m final!
