Weekend's Wildest Upsets: The Top Four

3. Bryand Rincher over Tyrese Cooper

Rincher, only a sophomore, joins some seriously excellent company--the last non-Cooper sprinter to win a race that Cooper finished was Josephus Lyles. The sophomore from Piper beat Cooper by 0.01 seconds. Rincher came in with the same 100 PR as Cooper--10.49--but his was achieved with a 2.0 mps tailwind, while Cooper had run 10.49 into a headwind two weeks ago. That's enough to qualify it as a serious upset.
