Katie Rainsberger Runs 4:17.52 1500, #12 All Time
Competing at her future home track at the Oregon Relays, Colorado's Katie Rainsberger won the women's 1500 over a field of collegians and professionals in 4:17.52, making her the #12 performer in high school history. That converts to 4:38.04 for a full mile. This is on the heels of Rainsberger winning the mile at New Balance Nationals Indoor in a senior class record of 4:36.61; she came through 1500 meters in that race in 4:17.68.
