5. The Woodlands Boys Run 18-second Top 5 spread
The Flo50 #13 ranked Woodlands boys return nearly everyone from the squad that placed 22nd at NXN last fall and in 2015, they look poised to return to the big dance in Portland. They racked up an impressive 20-point win total this past weekend at the Region 3 & Southland Conference XC Preview, well ahead of runner-up Katy's 153 points. Individual champion Daniel Golden led the Highlanders with a 15:46 run, as teammates William Hunsdale, Nick Hawley, Nicholas Enochs and Gavin Hoffpauir combined for places 2-4-6-7, an 18-second top five spread and 15:58 average.
