Boys Long Jump

1. Ja'Mari Ward (Cahokia, IL - Jr.) - The double New Balance Nationals Indoor champion is the best jumper in the nation this year. He is one of just two boys who have leaped farther than 25 feet outdoors and owns the top spot by nearly five inches with a season-best 25-6.5. His PR dates to the indoor season, when he jumped 25-6.5.

2. Lawrence Wallace (Tucson, AZ - Sr.) - Senior Wallace is only the second prep athlete to jump better than 25 feet this season. He ranks No. 2 on the leaderboard with a huge PR of 25-1.75 from his previous best of 23-0.75; the mark propelled Wallace to his first Arizona state title after finishing third last year.

3. Greg Vann (Rio Mesa, CA - Sr.) - Fourth at the California state meet last year, Vann's season-best jump of 24-10.5 to rank US #2 came in March to win the ASICS Carmel Invitational. He has not reached those heights since, but has recorded a runner-up finish at the Mt. SAC Relays and a fourth-place at the Arcadia Invitational. Vann was runner-up at New Balance Nationals Indoor.

4. Rayvon Grey (Beacon, NY - Jr.) - The Loucks Games champion ranks US #4 with his 24-9.75 jump, a personal record. He has recorded a runner-up finish in each of the last three editions of the New York State Championship and just missed All-American honors with a ninth-place finish at the indoor national meet.

5. Brett Winnegan (Pearland Dawson, TX - Sr.) - The senior enters this weekend's Texas State Championship as the favorite for the Class 4A title after placing runner-up last year. He won the Texas Southern Relays and placed fifth at the Texas Relays. He ranks All-Conditions US #3 with his season-best 25-1.5.

6. Charles Brown (Wichita Falls Hirschi, TX - Sr.) - The senior was the Texas Class 3A state runner-up last year and has consistently improved with every meet, jumping an All-Conditions US #4 25-0.75 to win the Texas Region 1-4A Meet.

7. Mark Rubalcaba (Faith Lutheran, NV - Sr.) - The senior recorded his PR of 24-6 to win the Arcadia Invitational. He is the defending Nevada state champion in the long jump and placed fourth at the USATF National Junior Olympic Outdoor Track and Field Championship last summer.

8. Derrick Monroe (Cibola, AZ - Sr.) - The Arcadia Invitational runner-up recorded a season-best jump of 24-5.5 at that meet, an all-time PR. Monroe also won the Mt. SAC Relays and the Arizona D2 State Championship this season; that state title is a career first.

9. Joey Souza (Kingsburg, CA - Sr.) - The 2014 California state meet runner-up has recorded two competition jumps over 24 feet this season, including a season-best of 24-5 to rank US #7 and finish third at the Arcadia Invitational. Last year, he jumped his PR of 25-7; watch out if Souza can find that form again.

10. Bryce Huggins (Bakersfield, CA - Sr.) - The senior has enjoyed an undefeated season, minus a fifth place finish at the Arcadia Invitational. He owns a season-best wind legal, FAT jump of 24-3, good for US #8.
