Nick Grismer of Mason High School in Ohio started his season with a near win at the OHSAA Early Season Invitational on his state meet course two weeks ago with a strong 15:47 runner-up performance. This past weekend at the Xavier University Invitational, the 9:14 3200 meter runner Grismer chopped another 19 seconds off his season best 5K time to win the race in a US #7 time of 15:26, while leading his Mason squad to the team title as well.
