
Don't let their 5K times fool you. The American Fork boys of Utah are once again expected to be one of the best teams of the NXN Southwest Regional and competing among the top 5 or so teams nationally in the national race this December at Porland Meadows. Their three mile times (15:15 team average), which is the most commonly run distance in their state, are a much better indication of the group that returns with an entire top 7 that has run under 16 minutes led by Zac Jacklin with a 14:42 best. A list of the top 25 fastest returning boys cross country teams within the states of the NXN Southwest Region including Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. List is generated by using the average time of the top 5 returnees on each team from their 2013 XC season 5K bests. Note that these are not subjective rankings, which we will produce during the season, but a guide to show some of the top teams coming back in the region.
