Devante Lacy, a senior at Klein Oak High School in Texas, comes into this Saturday's Brooks PR Invitational with the nation's fastest time at 400 meters with his 46.10 performance at the UIL State Championships in early May at the University of Texas in Austin. Lacy is not content with that PR performance from Texas State Meet over 6 weeks ago as he has been training and preparing for this trip to Seattle looking to run his first and the country's first sub 46 second in the open 400 this outdoor season.
