Top 10 Boys National Performances of the Week (1/20-1/26)

Each week, MileSplit US will rank the top 10 best high school performances across the country for each gender. Below is our top 10 list of the best high school boys performances from this past week of meets ending on Sunday, January 26th.

 

 

#10 - Andrew Bolze (MA) breaks the Massachusetts All State record in the 300 meter dash with a 34.19 performance at MSTCA Elite Meet.

 

#9 - Warwick Valley boys (NY) run comfortably under 3:30 for US leader in SMR with time of 3:28.48 at the Armory.


#8 - The field can't make up the stagger on Anton Porter (NY) as he banks a sub 34 and US #2 time in the 300 (33.83) at New Balance Games.

#7 - Gabe Montague (MA) continues his hot indoor season in Massachusetts with US #2 2:28 mid-week performance in the 1000.

 

#6 - Cheltenham (PA) boys sprint relays dominate New Balance Games with US #2 times of 1:28.87 and 3:21.22 in their 4x200 and 4x400 meter victories.


 

#5 - Darryl Haraway (MD) records US #1 21.65 200m and US #3 6.82 60m in the DeMatha Catholic junior's sprint double at Penn State.

 

#4 - Wyoming star Ricky Faure picks up where he left off last spring in 800 (1:50 PR) with a 1:52.90 indoor season opener and US leading time at Utah Distance Challenge.

 

#3 - Robert Atwater (MI) joins only 2 others over 7 feet in high jump this season with 7'0" clearance at Michigan State.

 

#2 - Elijah Armstrong (ID) outduels Connor Mantz (US #2 9:09) and Andrew Rafla (US #3 9:10) for US #1 9:08.60 two mile at New Balance Jacksons Invite. Doubles back next day for US #5 4:16.02 mile victory in Boise.

 

#1 - Despite facing a loaded field in David Oliver Classic 55 dash finals, current US 60 dash leader (6.70) Trentavius Friday is still king of short sprints in NC with US #1 6.30 clocking.
