The Lowdown

Campbell is an extremely talented football player and sprinter who will immediately boost any program he chooses. Last outdoor season, when Schwartz went down at the FHSAA Class 2A Championships with a leg injury in the 100m, Campbell picked up the slack and scored two championships in his absence. According to American Heritage sprints coach Gregory Barnes, Campbell will likely compete in track and field in college. If he decides on Georgia, he would join one of the top NCAA Division I programs in the nation. If it's Miami, he could provide another big jolt to the Hurricanes program, one that already saw additions like Thomas Burns, Tyrees Moulton and redshirt Chauncy Smart. And if it's Alabama, well, he's probably going to concentrate on football, but it's worth noting that the Crimson Tide scored at the NCAA championships with a third-place outing from junior Jereem Richards in the 200m.
