Analysis: This race should be stacked on both the boys and girls sides. The Naperville North girls, ranked No. 16 on the Flo50 poll, will look to take home the win in their second meet of the season. The Huskies won their first Invitational of the season last weekend, led by senior Sarah Schmitt.
On the guys side, we will see Danny Kilrea at work again in his second race of the season. He won last weekend's Mike Kuharic Invitational 3-mile race, throwing down an impressive 14:10.25 for an off-the-charts speed rating of 193. One guy who could challenge Kilrea, according to our Illinois web master Tony Jones, is Clayton Mendez from Whitney Young, who beat Kilrea on the track in the 3200m this past spring. The team battle should be taken by Downers Grove North, ranked No. 5 in the Flo50.
