Analysis: This meet features some of the top runners and teams in the state of Utah. On the guy's side, we'll get to see Flo50 No. 11 Springville face off against Flo50 No. 11 Timpanogos. Last week Springville upset Timpanogos at the Region 8 preview meet in Orem, Utah. Led by Flo50 No. 14 individual Grant Gardner the Red Devil's rolled over Timpanogos 24 to 31. We'll see if that same thing happens this weekend or if the outcome will be reversed. We also can't forget about the guys from Davis who are on our bubble watch list as a team to potentially jump into the ranking this year.
On the girls side, American Fork, Davis, Lone Peak, Maple Mountain, Mountain View, and Pine View all face off to see who is the best. Currently, Flo50 No. 17 Mountian View looks to be the favorite but in the state of Utah the cross country talent runs deep, and we could see any one of the teams listed above pull off an upset.
