If you wanted to see some blazing fast times take place this weekend, you were best served if you were in Ohio.
The nation's top two 5K times took place on Saturday in separate meets, with Colonel Crawford High's Chad Johnson taking top honors with his 14:54.88 at the Colonel Crawford Early Bird Invitational.
Lakota East High senior Dustin Horter, a Flo50 preseason No. 8 runner, posted the No. 2 time in the 5K with a 14:56 at the Lakota East Classic.

We also had the No. 5 performance from Conant Smith (15:10.00) at the Bob Schul Invitational and the No. 8 effort from Matt Scrape (15:24.60) at the Pickerington North XC Classic.
Watch out for Ohio.
