US Top 500 Outdoor Returnees: Boys 800m Run

Three runners went 1:48 in the 800 at last May's Dogwood Track Classic in Virginia, but only one of them returns for his senior year in the race winner Brandon McGorty of Chantilly. His 1:48.58 performance is fastest among the nation's returnees with only Cameron Cooper (MI) and Kyler True (KS) as the next two who have run under 1:50. McGorty this indoor season has run a 1:04 500, 1:50 800, 2:24 1000, and 4:13 1600.
