National Weekend Rundown: 7 Things To Know

5. Three Girls Over 20 Feet In the Long Jump

Last year, we saw just two girls jump over 20 feet during the indoor season -- one of whom was Kate Hall, who went on to break the National High School Record outdoors.

As of this weekend, three school girls are already over the 20-foot barrier: Titiana Marsh (20-0.5, pictured), Samiyah Samuels (20-0.25) and Lanae-Tava Thomas (20-0). The jumps are wind-legal PRs for all three athletes.

It will take a 20-7 effort to make the U.S. All-Time List; junior Courtney Corrin of Harvard Westlake, Ca. occupies the No. 10 spot on that list.
