Sixteen Bold Predictions For 2016

Khalifa St. Fort will turn pro

The senior from St. Thomas Aquinas, Florida set her 100m PR at 11.19 last year in placing second to Candace Hill at the IAAF World Youth Championships. She ran a leg on the Trinidad & Tobago 4x100m relay at the senior level IAAF World Championships; her bronze medal made her the first U.S.-based prep to medal at worlds. St. Fort is currently committed to UCLA, but I predict that after she breaks 11.10 in the 100m, she will turn pro and represent Trinidad & Tobago at the Olympics. The Ato Boldon pupil was recently named the 2015 Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee Junior Sportswoman of the Year.
