Six Questions Before NXN

Casey Clinger

No. 7 ranked Casey Clinger is undefeated this season, including a 'W' at the tough Utah Class 5A State Championship. He was the only sophomore to finish in the top 25 at NXN last year with an All-American eighth-place finish; his American Fork team took fifth place. Clinger is back in Portland, as is Fork; the Cavemen advanced by virtue of an at-large bid after placing fourth at NXN Southwest.

We didn't peak for state, it was just a light week in our cycle.

5. If you could be a Voodoo Donut, what kind would you be and why?

(If you don't know what Voodoo Doughnuts are, check out their website here. Essentially, they are a Portland institution that creates the most outrageous, tasty, hipster donuts we've ever seen. This isn't an ad, we swear....)

A bear claw because they are delicious.

6. Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or one hundred duck-sized horses?

One horse-sized duck.
