Fidelis Osunkwo Officially Invited To Bermuda XC Challenge

When Fidelis Osunkwo moved to the U.S. from Nigeria with his father and sister, he spoke no English and had never run competitively. Two years later, he is a top student in his class at Harry S. Truman High School in the Bronx, aspires to become a pharmacist, and is the PSAL cross-country champion and one of the top middle-distance runners in New York City.

MileSplit, three-time Olympian Hazel Clark, the Bermuda Tourism Authority, and Speed4Sport are partnering to provide Osunkwo the experience of a lifetime in a trip and entry into the Bermuda XC Challenge on Dec. 2. when he will have the chance to compete internationally for the first time ever, while experiencing all the camaraderie and culture the event has to offer.
