Vernon Turner added another accolade to his belt today as he cleared 7-3 at the Great Southwest Classic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His leap broke David Smith's seven-year-old record as Smith cleared 7-2.5 back in 2010. Turner is one of the best athletes in the country as he is currently US #1 in the high jump with a 7-6.
