Details for Southwest Conference Invitational:
Invitational Date: Thursday, May 9, 2024
Entry Deadline: Monday, May 6, 2024, at 8 PM online entry using PA MileSplit.
Meet Registration: Once the meet is closed, additional entries will not be accepted. There will be "no day of the meet" additions. Scratches will be done at the coaches' meeting.
Stadium Opens for Teams to Arrive at 2 PM
Coaches' Meeting: 2:30 PM
Field events start at 3 PM
Running events start at 3 PM.
We will use a rolling schedule, please instruct your student-athletes to listen to the calls for their events.
Order of Events:
Track Events (In this order and all running events will be Girls followed by Boys.):
100 Hurdles (Girls 30") Finals
110 Hurdles (Boys 33") Finals
100m Dash Finals
1600m Run Finals
4x100m Relay Finals
400m Dash Finals
800m Run Finals
200m Dash Finals
4x400 Relay Finals
Field Events (In this order and for field events 3 attempts will be given as there will be no finals):
Long Jump (Girls then Boys: One Hour Open Pit)
Triple Jump (Boys then Girls: One Hour Open Pit)
High Jump (Girls then Boys) High Jump starting height: Girls, 3-6 and Boys, 4-0
Pole Vault (Boys then Girls) Pole Vault starting height: Girls, 5-0 and Boys, 6-0
Discus (Girls than Boys)
Shot Put (Boys then Girls) 6-pound shot for girls, 4 kilograms for boys.
