Colorado Pentathlon and Javelin Championships 2024

COLORADO STATE MULTIS AND JAVELIN

CHAMPIONSHIPS

The date is May 29th starting at 10a.m. with an entry deadline of May 24th at 6:59 p.m. MT. We have replaced the Girl's 200m Sprint with the 100m Hurdles to keep it a true Pentathlon.

Javelin Qualification

All athletes participating in the Javelin Championships must be listed in the 2024 Max Preps Javelin Rankings (all classifications are welcome).  Javelins will be provided, but athletes are welcome to bring their own implements (subject to weigh-in).

Pentathlon Qualification

All high school athletes are welcome to participate in the competition.  Athletes must successfully attempt and have a legal mark in all events in order to receive a final score and award.

Registration

Event Registration will be available on Milesplit Colorado,  Please enter as many valid competition marks as possible for event seeding.  If the athlete doesn't have an official mark, please make your best honest estimate and we will seed accordingly.

Scoring

We will use the IAAF Pentathlon and Decathlon Scoring Table to calculate points earned for each event.  Event rules and rest times will be set by the games committee prior to the start of the first event.

Cost

$40.00 per individual BEFORE May 10th. $50.00 per individual after May 10th.

Payment to be made out to CDm Elite Track Club.
