Hawkins County Track Meet 2024 Info
The 7th and 8th grade will be held on Wednesday, May 8th (rain date of May 9th.) Please read and contact me if anything needs to be changed or added. Our goal is to provide you with a quality meet.
Each school may enter a maximum of two people in each event, except the 800 run and 1600 run where you may enter three.
An athlete may enter A TOTAL OF THREE events in any combination. Please fill out an entry sheet to turn in.. Coaches, please follow this rule to be fair for everyone.
Three attempts will be given in field events.
Team trophies will be awarded to 1st & 2nd Place Teams.
Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.
Scoring format will be
Individual Events: 1st(5). 2nd(3), 3rd(2) 4th(1)
Relays: 1st(5), 2nd(3), 3rd(1)
Each School will pay the following for the cost of awards and the timing system.
Each school will pay $50 per day, as in the past years.
Make checks payable to VOLUNTEER HIGH SCHOOL.
A $5.00 donation for entry for spectators/parents.
Students and children are free. All parents and spectators will remain in stands.
