The Academy of Notre Dame is excited to host the Inter-Ac Middle School Track & Field Championships. Please read through the information below:

TUESDAY, MAY 7 @ The Academy of Notre Dame
1:15 PM- Track open for warm-ups2:00 PM start for Field Events
2:00 PM - OPEN Long Jump, - ONE pit. Girls followed by Boys
- OPEN High jump to follow. Girls followed by Boys
2:00 PM - OPEN Shot Put 1 circle, Boys followed by Girls
3:00 PM start for Running EventsORDER OF RUNNING EVENTS100M Hurdles - Girls  110M Hurdles - Boys1600M Run**100M Dash400M Run800M Run200M Dash"B" and "C" 4x100M Relay"A" 4x100M Relay**Depending on number of entries, 1600M heats may be combined and run co-ed

IMPORTANT NOTES

2018 CHANGE: Athletes may compete in 3 events and the 4x100M Relay

2018 CHANGE: Athletes may double in the 800M and 1600M

Running events will be seeded by time, regardless of grade level

Heats will run from slow to fast, with girls preceding boys

All running events are Finals by time (athletes may place out of any heat)

4x100 relay teams will be single gender but may have athletes from multiple grade levels

* 2018 CHANGE: Schools may enter "B" and "C" teams for the 4x100, but only the "A" team will be able to place

* Heats will run slow to fast in the relay as well (to allow athletes in the 200 some time to recover)

*Ribbons will be presented to the top four/five girls and top four/five boys in each event. (Clarifying number before race day.)

* After races, runners who have an opportunity to finish in the top four/five for girls and top four/five for boys will wait at the finish line until released. 

Winners will be announced.  Ribbons will be put in an envelope and envelopes will be distributed to the coach from each school at the end of the meet.

THIS IS ESSENTIAL TO BE ABLE TO RUN THE MEET: Each school must provide two volunteers to help run the meet.

Entries will be done through MileSplit/PennTrack

Make sure your team roster is up-to-date on MileSplit/PennTrack

Entries must be submitted by Monday May 6 at 9pm.

o All running events need seed times

o Field events do not need entry marks

o Remember to enter relays with seed times - you do not need to enter names

- Be sure to enter B and C teams if you will run more than one relay team.
