Meet Information
AAIS Girls Only Invitational
Entries must be submitted by 10am the day of the meet. If you scratch after 10am, the athlete is ineligible to compete in the entire meet.
Scoring:10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for Individual Events and Relays
Long Jump/Triple Jump:The long jump will take place from 4:30-5:30. All long jumpers must measure their marks before 4:30 and get their jumps in before 5:00. The triple jump will take place from 5:30-End of Meet. All triple jumpers must measure their marks before 5:30.
Field Events:Each athlete will have 3 attempts at each height/distance.
Check In:Athletes should report to the clerk when their event is called. Check in area will be by the start of the 100m. If an athlete misses their heat they cannot change to another heat. Hip Stickers for all relays and all individual races 800 and above.
Participation:A varsity athlete can participate in any 4 events including field events, relays, and/or individual events.
Individual Events: unlimited per team
Relay Events:1 team per school
Heats:FAT will be used. Lane assignments will be arranged based on seed times entered in milesplit.
Uniforms:All athletes must wear clearly identifiable school uniforms consisting of shorts and a singlet. Any other visible apparel must be worn underneath and should be the same color for every athlete on the team.
Batons:All schools will supply their own relay batons.
