COACHES: Coaches meeting will be at 1:30pm at the finish line.
Please remind your athletes that they must be in uniform to get in without paying. Also, attached is the time schedule for the day. It is your responsibility to inform your athletes of all rules and expectations. All teams are required to help with their assigned field event and exchange zones.
Parking will be an issue when the meet first starts. There is NO parking at the school until after 4:00pm. Here are the procedures for busing and parking:
Buses will be allowed to drop off the athletes by entering the gate located on Whipple Road (the entrance is the one furthest from our baseball complex). Then they will park at Seacoast (on Longpoint Road) and can get shuttled back to the school.
Spectators, athletes and coaches will also park at Seacoast and get shuttled to the school up until 4:00pm. Academic Magnets Athletic Director has offered to provide the shuttle.
Medals will be awarded to the top three athletes in each event. The top 4 in each event, plus the next 4 at large participants will qualify to compete in the TRI-COUNTY MEET OF CHAMPIONS.

Coaches, please be reminded that you can enter 4 athletes in each event and 1 relay team per school. Meet entry is being done on www.scrunners.com. Changes must be done during the open period for the meet. There are no substitutions.
Entry deadline for the meet will be Tuesday, April 9th at 10:00am. Once that time passes, no changes will be made.
LJ, TJ, SP, Discus and Javelin each competitor will get 3 attempts and then the top 9 will get 3 additional Jumps/Throws.
Implements will be weighed in prior to the start of the meet.

We will be scoring the Top 8 places 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Top 4 placers will qualify for the Tri County Meet of Champions. There may be at large qualifiers as well
Remember, there are standards in place for the CCSD Meet. If you are helping with one or
more of these events, make sure you adhere to the standards listed below.

General Information and Guidelines:
The cost of admission is $8.00.
There will be concessions available.
ATHLETES MUST BE IN THEIR UNIFORM TO ENTER THE STADIUM. THERE ARE NO FACILITIES FOR DRESSING.
There will be limited areas available for team tents and whatever else your team may need.
Athletic trainers will be on site for athletic needs. If your athletes need to be taped, please bring tape with you.
Only participating athletes will be allowed on the field, all others must be in the stands.
WARMING UP IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE INFIELD ONCE THE MEET HAS STARTED.
ALL ATHLETES MUST STAY IN THE STADIUM AREA. NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE SCHOOL BUILDING OR PRACTICE FIELDS.
Only inch spikes or running flats will be allowed on the track surface. tape will not be allowed for relays. Please bring chalk or tennis balls for the 4x100 relay.
Athletes are limited to four events including relays.
