Online Registration Instructions
NE JH B DISTRICT TRACK MEET - 2024
The NORTHEAST JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL B DISTRICT track meet will be held on Saturday, May 4, at Panther Field located at Wright High School.
Entries
Entries must be received no later than 6:00 am on Saturday, May 4. The meet will be listed on MileSplit. Please be as accurate as you can be in entering times and distances. No additions will be made the morning of the meet; scratches only.
Divisions
We will have a girls and a boys 7 and a 8 division for each event. Participants may not cross over between divisions - meaning if a 6/7 is entered in the 8 division, ALL events for that participant must be in the 8 division. 8 CANNOT drop into the 7 division
Events
Each team may enter a maximum of three participants per event in each division. Each participant may be entered in a maximum of five events. They may be entered in no more than three individual running events. They may be entered in a total of 4 running events, one of which has to be a relay. Please indicate who your relay runners are. Without names, we will not enter the team.
Awards
There will be medals for 1st - 3rd place in all events. Team points will be kept, and a plaque will be awarded for each team champion in each division. Team points will be awarded according to the following:
1st = 10 points, 2nd = 8 points, 3rd = 6 points, 4th = 4 points, 5th = 2 points, and 6th = 1 point.
Equipment
We will provide the shots, discs (if needed) you may use your own but they will be weighed. NO spikes longer than 1/8 will be allowed on the track or runways.
Team Camps
Team camps will NOT be allowed on the game field. There are grass areas outside of the track behind the press box and we will open the practice field to team camps. Please be considerate and pick up after yourselves. We are asking that only athletes who are actively participating and coaches be in the infield area. Please help by asking your parents and other supporters to remain in the bleachers or outside the fence.
Scratch Meeting
Your entry packets will be available at 7:45 a.m. Please take your scratches to Press box as soon as you arrive. There will be no additions the day of the meet! Replace only!
Hospitality Room & Concessions
We will have a hospitality room for coaches, workers, and bus drivers. There will also be a concession stand open throughout the day.
