Online Registration Instructions
2024 Junior High NTL Track & Field Championships
Date & Time
The meet is on TUESDAY (5/7). We will begin field events at 3:30 PM and track events at 4:00 PM We will have the coaches meeting at 3:00 PM in the staging tent. This will be immediately followed by a scratch meeting. We need all scratches in at that time so that we can make the actual meet run more smoothly.
Entries
Schools are limited to 4 athletes per event. 1 relay team per relay event. However, only a schools top 3 finishers will score points. Athletes are limited to 4 events, including relays.

Cost: There will be a $150 per school entry fee made payable to Wellsboro Area High School. Please mail to Matt Rendos, Athletic Director at Wellsboro Area High School, 225 Nichols St., Wellsboro, PA 16901.
Deadline to Register: Sunday, May 5th by 10 PM. Entries will be done on the MileSplit/Penn Track website.
Staging Tent
Athletes should report to the staging tent between first and second call for all track events. The staging tent will be near the end zone by the concession stand.
Order of Track Events
We will run the track events in the order listed below. Due to the number of events, we have decided not to have a 4x200 m race.
100 m Hurdles
100 m Dash
1600 m Run
400 m Relay
400 m Dash
800 m Run
200 m Dash
1600 m Relay
All events will be finals. There will be no trials.

Order of Field Events
We will have one flight for each field event. Field events will be called in order. We will not be running any events as an open pit. If athletes need to leave early for an upcoming track event, please have them inform the individual running the event when they check in. They will be allowed to complete all three jumps/throws before their track event (if possible) or after their track event (as long as the field event has not concluded for the event/gender).
High Jump: Boys First
Sand Pit: Long Jump (Girls), Triple Jump (Girls), Long Jump (Boys), Triple Jump (Boys)

Discus: Boys First
Scoring and Awards
The top 8 places will score points 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for individual events and relays. Each team can only score up to three places. The top 6 places in each event will receive ribbons. Ribbons will be announced and handed out on the podium on the field in front of the press box.
Results and Podium: Results will be released throughout the meet on the Meet Manager app. Ribbons will be given out to 1st through 6th place on the podium of the 50-yard line following the announcement.
Facility Rules
Bathrooms: Bathrooms and lockers rooms will be open in both the Wellsboro Area High School building and in the Administration Building.
Team Tents: Teams may set up tents in the area outside the track. Tents may not be set up on any throwing event areas, on the infield, or in front of the press box on the bleachers. Tents must be set up on the grass and locations will be first-come, first-served.
Infield Rules: Only water (no food, gum, or other beverages) is permitted on the track or infield. Athletes may not wear spikes on the turf on the infield.
Spectator Parking
Spectator parking will be $1 per vehicle. Spectators can park in the high school parking lot or the administration building parking lot.
Bus Parking
There will be parking for busses in the lot behind the administration building.
Concession Stand
There will be a concession stand selling a variety of concession stand foods. They will only be able to take cash payments.
