SUBJECT: Merino Junior High Invitational Track Meet
The Merino Junior High Invitational track meet will be held April 25th starting at 9:00 AM.
We will be utilizing the Milesplit (http://co.milesplit.com) website to process rosters and entries. The entry deadline will be noon-April 15th. There will be no additions or substitutions at the meet.

Field Events:9:00 AM (3 throws or Jumps....NO FINALS)
Running Events: Approx. 11:15 AM (No Prelims)
Cost: $150.00 per team (i.e.-$150-Boys;$150-Girls)
Concession Stand: Merino HS will be providing a Concession Stand

III. ENTRIES
1. No more than (6) participants from the same school may be entered or started in any event.
2. Entries close on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 @ noon.
3. We have the online entries on Mile Split. Please include full names (last, first), school, and times/marks of each participant in order of performance.
4. Seeding will be based on submitted times/distances.
IV. SCORING
1. Six places will be counted in all events to determine the winning teams in each division. First, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place will be awarded 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 points respectively.
V. AWARDS
1. Trophies-1st Place Boys & Girls Teams in both 7th & 8th grade divisions.
VI. MISC.
1. There will be a hospitality room for coaches, administrators, bus drivers, and workers in the performance room. We are looking forward to a great invitational meet. If you have any questions, please call me at 970-522-7424 x1107.
