Scratch Meeting:  8:00 am in the GYM

Start Time:  9:00 am all events begin     

Teams: Santa Teresa, Chaparral, Gadsden, Canutillo, Anthony, East Montana, Estrada

Registration:  NMMILESPLIT  Will be open from April 15th 9:00 am to April 25th 5:00 pm

• Deadline to register is April 20th at 5:00 pm

• An athlete may only be entered in a maximum of 5 events of which only 3 may be running events.  Example 3 running/2 field or 4 field /1 running.

• Schools may only enter 3 athletes per event per grade level

Order of Events:   Boys will do all running events first starting at 9:00 am  

   Girls will do all field events first starting a 9:00 am

(Upon completion Girls will start running events and Boys will begin field events)

High Jump (Boys/Girls 8th) - Estrada              

General Information:

Hurdle heights are as follows:  Boys 110 meter 33s.  Girls 100 meters 30s.

Starting heights for the high jump are 36 for 7th girls, 38 for 8th girls, and 4 for 7th boys, and 42 for 8th boys.  Increments will be every 2 until only 4 jumpers remain and then the increment will be 1.

Athletes not in a current event must stay off of the football field.  Only those called to check in, competing in the high jump, and warming up for a relay are allowed on field.

(No Camps on field, all must be in the stands)

No sports equipment other than those used in the meet will be allowed.  Ex. (footballs, soccer balls etc.)  No boom boxes or music amplifiers.

For the 800 meter relay:  First and second runners will stay in their lane.  On the next exchange, runners will cut into the first lane.  On the last exchange, runners will be set up according to their teams place in the race.

7th and 8th grade 2400 and 1600 may be combined based on the number of runners.
