LOCATION: Oak Grove High School, 605 SE 12th Street, Oak Grove, MO 60475

TEAMS: Center, Clinton, Harrisonville, Oak Grove, Odessa, Pleasant Hill, Holden, Higginsville, Lexington, Richmond

TIMES:

Coaches meeting (1st Level of Press Box)- 3:30 PM 

Field events- 4:00 PM

Running events- 4:30 PM

ENTRIES:Limited to 2 individuals per event and 1 relay team.

Entries due on MoMileSplit.com by 5pm April 3rd. 

AWARDS: Top 3 in all events. 1st Place Plaque to Boys and Girls teams. 

SCORING: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

FEE: $200. Checks made payable to Oak Grove R6

SCRATCHES: Scratches and substitutions will be made at the coaches meeting. No additions will be made after the entries close on 4/3/2024 at 5:00 pm.

SPIKES:Running flats or 1/4 spikes are allowed on all running and jumping surfaces.

The shot put and discus rings are all concrete.  

BULLPEN: Location of the bullpen will be at centerfield (50 yard line) on the paw.

COACHES MEETING:

Lane/heat assignments will be given in the bullpen.  Participants in field events will check-in at the site. Times will be given to all participants at the finish line. 

ASSISTANCE:

We plan to have HS coaches/athletes to judge field events. However, be ready to help by judging curves/exchange zones the day of the meet. Keep your athletes not competing off the infield and in the stands at your team camp. Keep your athletes not competing out of the bullpen area.

QUALIFYING:

All races/field events will be run as finals. Contestants in field events check in at site and have 3 attempts.  Opening height in high jump for girls 100 cm and for boys 110 cm. This may change at the coaches meeting. Contestants in field events will have 60 minutes to complete the event once it starts.

400m Relay (4 x 100 Relay)

Zone 1 - Odessa    

Zone 2 - Clinton

Zone 3 - Pleasant Hill

800m Relay-(4 x 200 Relay)

Zone 1 - Richmond

Zone 2 -Holden

FIELD EVENT INFORMATION: 

  • The shot and discus are located west of Panther Stadium. The long jump, triple jump, and high jump areas are located on the south side of the football field. 

  • Field Events starting at 4:00  We will have 60 minutes for athletes to complete their jumps, throws, etc.

  • Field Events starting at 5:30 will have 60 minutes for athletes to complete their jumps, throws, etc.

GENERAL MEET INFORMATION: 

  • There will be 1st calls, 2nd calls, and final calls for all events. If athletes are not checked-in prior to our starter organizing the start of the event, then they will not be allowed to compete in that event.

The girls and boys 800m and 1600m run will be a waterfall start and may be combined if there are a low number of participants.  The starter will determine this.  All running events will begin at 4:30p.m.
