HAXTUN RELAYS! 2024

We are excited to see you at the Haxtun Relays!

The Haxtun Relays has been a longstanding Track & Field tradition in

Northeastern Colorado. This is a CHSAA qualifying

meet. It is a fun meet incorporating all events scored as relays while

making it a Colorado qualifying meet for individuals.

LOCATION:

Holyoke High School, Holyoke CO

DATE & TIME: April 26th, 2024 with a 2:30pm START designed

to finish under the lights. This should be a great event as

teams are typically making final pushes to qualify relay teams.

STATEQUALIFYING TIMES:All events will be timed, marked and measured as individual events

in order to accommodate the structure of MaxPreps and MileSplit for state

qualifying events.

MEET SCORING:

For The purpose of meet scoring each member's individual BEST time or mark per

event will be tallied together with other team members for that event for

a total team time or mark. This total time or mark will be used for team

scoring for that event.

Standard Relays will incorporate the normal 4-person team. 1 relay per team

maximum.

ThePole Vault, High Jump, 1600m and 3200m run will incorporate 2 person teams for

the purpose of meet scoring.

All other events will use a 3 person team.

You must field an entire 2,3, or 4 person team as discussed previously to

accumulate TEAM points for that

event. If you cannot field a team, individuals are still allowed to

participate, but no meet points will accumulate toward the meet team score.

MEDALS 

Medals given for 1st place team in each event. TROPHIES given for top Mens

and Women's Teams overall. TROPHIES also given for top teams in both Mens and

Women's division for;

Jumps & Vaults Team     HJ+ LJ, +TJ, +PV

Distance Team  800+1600+3200

Sprints Team 100+200+400

Hurdles Team                 Short+Long Hurdles

Throws Team                    Discus+Shot

EVENTS AND MINIMUM TEAM MEMBERS:

Athletes will be limited to the standard 4 events for the meet. Events will be limited to 6 athletes per event.

No minimum athletes per event but only top 2 or 3 will be used for the meet

scoring.

lap) if you don't have 4 coaches its ok to have just 2 or 3.

Coed Shot Put Relay (all must

participate in a field event this day including 1 member throwing shot put)

per team $250 includes boys and girls.

No adds at the meet.Scratch and
