Ansonia Cub Relays 2024

Date: Tuesday, April 16th, 2024

Entry Deadline: Sunday, April 14th, 11pm

Time: Coaches Meeting 4:20 pm Field Events 4:30 pm Running Events 5:15 pm

Entry Fee: $150

Running Events: 4 athletes per team

Field Events: 2 Athletes per event, their combined results will be scored.

Attempts: 4 attempts and no finals for Long Jump, Shot Put, and Discus 

Scoring:  10-8-6-4-2-1 for all events 

Starting Blocks:  These will be provided

Batons:  Teams are to provide their own batons for races

Track Markings:  Please use cut tennis balls and chalk

Medical:  Athletic Trainer on site

Spikes:  1/8 - 1/4"   Ansonia's track is all-weather. 

 Please inform athletes that there are to be no spikes in the stands

Bull Pen:  West end of track near restrooms

Warm-ups:  Allowed in the infield prior to events

Non-participants: Stay off the football field during events

Awards:  Medals for 1st and 2nd place; ribbons for 3rd and 4th place

Parking:  Bus parking will west of football field by bus barn

Admission:  $5.00 for all tickets

Concessions:  Available through the Ansonia Athletic Boosters

Camps:  Allowed to the East of the long jump pit and to the North side of track.  No bleacher camps please.
