Welcome! The 2024 J.R. Tucker Last Chance Meet will be hosted at our beautiful facility featuring an upgraded surface superior to that of the standard high school track. This meet is a qualifier for all regional and state meets. Only the first 10 schools to register will be accepted. Meet information is below. This meet is intended for athletes who haven't yet qualified for regionals and are pursuing a qualification mark or want to end their season on a strong note.

Entry Fee(s):

$200 per school for both genders (girls and boys).

$125 for one gender (girls or boys). 

If you are bringing 10 or fewer athletes (regardless of gender), you may pay $10 per athlete. 

Please make checks payable to: J.R. TUCKER HIGH SCHOOL

We request that checks be delivered to the press box during the meet.

Registration Deadline: Registration closes Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:59 pm.

Parking: Anyone driving a personal vehicle to the meet must park in our main lot off Parham Road. Buses must park in the auxiliary parking lot located adjacent to the stadium complex on St. Martin's Lane.

Concessions: Our concession stand will be open.

Restooms: Restrooms are located adjacent to the concessions stand.  

In-Field: Athletes must stay off the in-field unless they are preparing to compete. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. Coaches may be on the in-field. We recommend athletes warm up and cool down on campus as traffic around Tucker can become quite busy. 

Trash: Athletes and teams are responsible for making sure no trash is left when your team departs our facility. Teams that fail to pick up after themselves will not be invited to future meets.

Entry Restrictions: 

Unlimited athletes per gender per individual event.

1 relay per gender per event

Schedule: Rolling schedule - a tentative schedule will be posted prior to the meet. If possible, we will run ahead of schedule.

Coaches Meeting at 5:00 pm

Field Events begin at 5:15 pm

Running Events begin at 5:30 pm

Running Events (Rolling Schedule): Running events begin at 5:30 pm. Girls precede boys. Fast heat runs first.
