Timing: F.A.T. will be provided by: MCCATS
Entry Limits: Varsity Limit (3) entries per individual event and (1) relay per school. Underclass is unlimited entry in all events.
YOU MUST HIGHLIGHT INTO RUN AN EVENT. OTHERWISE THEY ARE SCRATCHED
The meet will be pre-seeded and we will not use cards for the RUNNING EVENTS. Please
enter an accurate seed time for each individual race or relay you enter and the
athletes (up to 6 for relays) you expect to run on the relay.
Labels will be preprinted for FIELD EVENTS and then affixed to a card.
In order for your field athlete to have a label, you must enter him/her in the
event. Do not enter more than the number allowed in a field event for this competition.
When you fill in the athletes for each event you are creating your TEAM ROSTER. Make sure you
enter all the names of athletes competing that day.
On Line Entry: Coaches MUST enter their team on line at NJ MileSplit. This is in addition to a paper entry declaration.
Awards: Championship Plaque to the winning Varsity Boys & Girls team. Plaque to the winning Fr/So Girls & Freshman Boys team. Medals to the top 6 places in all events / divisions. Fr/Soph division is intended for non-varsity caliber athletes, please comply.
Scoring: 1st 6th Place. Points will be awarded 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1
Seeding: F.A.T. times (http://nj.milesplit.com/) will be used to seed the 200m, 400m & 400m IH seeds no overwrites accepted without verification.
Finals TRACK: In the 100m Dash and 100/110m Hurdles the Top 8 on TIME will advance to Final. Qualifiers 6-7-8 will run heat 1 and qualifiers 1-2-3-4-5 will run heat 2.
Finals FIELD: In the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin the Top 8 in Varsity will advance to 3 throw / jump final. All underclass will be 3 jumps / throws no final.
Deadline: Entry must be received by Monday May 13th
Spikes: 1/4" spikes or flats only on the track and jumping surfaces.
Check-in: Failure to check in on time may result in athlete(s) being closed out of an event and/or being shut out of seeded heats.
