Online Registration Instructions
Coaches,
Complete the "application" exactly like you would entering a meet using the Milesplit platform.
INFORMATION CAN BE FILLED OUT BUT APPLICATIONS ARE NOT COMPLETE UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE!
Athletes must achieve the mark during their high school season with their high school team--no unattached performances will be accepted. The final meet that will be accepted for each state is their respective state championships--no "Meet of Champions" meets or post-season meets will be accepted.
Individual Events
$20 per event--once the application/fee have been submitted, any improvement in performance(s) can be made with no charge by the coach exactly like making changes before meet entry deadlines.
Athletes can be recognized in as many individual events as they achieve a qualifying mark, but an application fee applies to each event.
Relay Events
$80 per event ($20 per athlete)--improvement in performance is the same as individual events--coaches can make those before meet entry deadlines.
FAQ's (so far)
1. Our end of the year awards reception is coming. How quickly can we get our certificates? We have already started emailing to the schools who have completed the applications/paid fees.
2. What if our 4x100m relay qualifies in March with a time and we apply and then we run a different athlete (or more) and run a better time later? The application only let us enter the four names of who ran the first qualifying time. Do we have to pay another $80 fee for a faster time in the 4x100m for recognition/certificates?
The answer is NO. When your team runs a different combo of kids with another qualifying time that includes any combination of kids who have already qualified in that relay, there is an option in the events list called "... Additional Qualifier" (see example below)
In this case, the Girls 4x200m Relay had already qualified/submitted an application & fee and the team ran another qualifying time with different athletes. Use the "Additional Qualifier(s)" option for anyone not already submitted so you are only charged $20 each for those kids.
3. We want to order some of the swag that Maxwell Awards is offering. When will the link be available for the All-American store? Our board is meeting with Maxwell Awards May 7 and the link will be posted on social media, our website and here as soon as it is available. We expect it available by middle of May at the very latest.
