Meet Information
Dear Athletic Directors/Track Coaches,
The 87th Annual Fox/Vixen Relays will be held in Fort Sumner on Saturday April 20, 2024. The scratch meeting will start at 8:00 in the Fort Sumner Football Field House.
Attached is a time schedule and instructions for entry. Please read the following meet information.
1. There will be a $50.00 charge per team for the Fox/Vixen Relays this year.
2. A concession stand will be available. If you wish to feed your athletes at the concession stand with a purchase order, please contact Lyndel Bonds @ (505) 353-2033.
3. You will only be allowed to scratch athletes out of events at the scratch meeting. No additions.
4. Athletes will get 4 throws in javelin, shot put, and discus.
5. Athletes will get 4 jumps in long Jump and triple jump.
6. We will have our coaches mile run before the break.
7. We will feed all coaches and workers during break.
8. There will be no locker rooms so please have your athletes come dressed.
9. All distance will be measured in meters.
10. All jumping and throwing events will be measured in feet/inches
11. Starting blocks will be furnished but you are welcome to use your own.
12. Restrooms are located at the concession stand.
13. Rules and events will follow NMAA & NFHS Guidelines
14. All- weather track measuring 400 meters. Short spikes only. Runways are all-weather. Shot/Discus rings are cement.
15. Please remind your athletes to not take hurdles out of our stacks set up for the hurdles. There will be plenty of Hurdles on the field to use for practice.
