I. Facility Information

A. Track Facility Information

1. The Lincoln Athletic Building has a 300m Track with 8 lanes on the straightaway

& 6 lanes on the oval.

2. Preferred oval lanes - 5-6-4-3-2-1

3. Please enter the building at the main concourse entrance ONLY, all other

entrances will be locked.

4. Restrooms are located in the locker rooms in the main concourse.

5. Everyone MUST be masked.

6. No Food on the turf

7. SPIKES ALLOWED BUT ONLY 14 INCH PYRAMID SPIKES.

8. NO TAPE ON TRACK - Chalk will be provided

9. LINCOLN ATHLETIC BUILDING AND MITS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR

THEFT OR INJURY.

B. Athlete Entry Fees & Coach/Spectator Ticket Information

1. Athletes can enter 1 individual event and any combination of 3 relay and/or field

event(s). Athletes are limited to 4 total events.

2. $15 per individual event, $50 per relay team

3. Cover charge for all qualified and registered athletes will be included in their

registration fee. All athlete registration will be handled through athletic.net

4. Coaches/Chaperones of registered athletes will receive ticket codes for the

available tickets first before the remaining tickets go on sale to the public.

5. The ticket service will automatically close as soon as the capacity limit is reached.

6. Coach/Chaperones tickets can be purchased through ticketspicket.com ONLY.

Coaches/Chaperones of qualified athletes will receive and email with the

necessary codes for the respective sessions their athletes are competing in..

TICKETS FOR - EVENT SCHEDULE IS BELOW!

8. We have a facility capacity based on the current State & County Covid Guidelines.

Registration will be all online, preference first to coaches/chaperones of qualified

and participating athletes. All athletes & coaches will be asked to register and

purchase your ticket online. A copy of the receipt will be needed to enter the

facility. There will be NO admission at the door to control our numbers and

operate within the guidelines - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

C. Ticket Code Procedure

1. Each individual session has its own code for ticket purchases, one for athletes

and one for coaches/chaperones, please make sure you are signing up for

the correct one. Please see below for the schedule of events to make the necessary

plans.

D. Parking

1. Free parking is available in the facility lot and on campus. All overflow parking

can park at the school building lot(s).

2. All cars illegally parked will be towed at the owner's expense.

II. COVID-19 Policies

A. Building Capacity

1. Our building capacity at this time is 500 people, this includes athletes. We will

follow this strict recommendation from the Washtenaw County Health

Department closely and will be adhering to all directives given to us.

2. Athletes MUST remain masked at all times - THIS INCLUDES

ATHLETES DURING THEIR RESPECTIVE RACES. ANYONE CAUGHT

DELIBERATELY REMOVING THEIR MASK AT ANY POINT DURING

THE RACE WILL BE PULLED OFF THE TRACK, DISQUALIFIED AND

ASKED TO LEAVE THE FACILITY.

3. All individuals entering the facility must wear masks and stay 6 feet from each

other.

4. Additionally, patrons (i.e. non-athletes and athletes who are not currently

warming up, cooling down or competing) should remain socially distanced and

masked.

5. All individuals entering the facility must not be exhibiting principal symptoms

consistent with COVID, such as at least 1 of fever, uncontrolled cough, or atypical

new onset of shortness of breath, or at least 2 of the following not explained by a

known physical condition: loss of taste or smell, muscle aches, sore throat, severe

headache, diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain.

6. If food or drinks are consumed on site, individuals may remove masks during the

time of actively eating or drinking only. Ideally this is in an area that is a bit more

separate from other areas/competitions

III. Event Information

A. Qualification Information

1. Due to the condensed nature of this season and the need to operate within the

capacity limits given to us by the Michigan & Washtenaw County Department of

Human & Health Services, we have decided that qualification will not be time

based and will be determined by place at the conclusion of the Indoor regular

season. The goal is to get to 2 sections/flights for each event. 60m, 60H & 200m

will have Prelims, Semis & Finals. Saturday, 3/13/2021 is the final day to

qualify for the MITS Indoor State Finals. Please see the breakdown below:

Field Events - Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, (*Triple Jump)

(1) 18 qualifiers per gender

(2) 3 attempts, Top 9 to Final, 3 attempts

Field Events - High Jump, Pole Vault

(1) 18 qualifiers per gender

60m, 60m Hurdles

(1) 32 qualifiers per gender

(2) 3 rounds - Prelims, Semifinals & Final

(3) Top 2 in each heat plus next fastest times advance

(4) Semifinals - 2 heats of 8 per gender

(5) Final - 1 heat of 8 per gender

200m

(1) 32 qualifiers per gender

(2) 3 rounds - Prelims, Semifinals & Final

(3) Top 2 in each heat plus next fastest times advance

(4) Prelims - 6 heats of 6 per gender

(5) Semifinals - 3 heats of 5 per gender, lane 1 open

(6) Finals - 2 heats 0f 5 per gender, lane 1 open

(1) 24 qualifiers per gender

(2) 4 heats of 5 + slowest section of 4, lane 1 open

B. Out-Of-State Performances

1. Out of state performances will be accepted. All out of state performances must be

accompanied with an official results link and will be verified before they are

accepted. As with in state performances, the final day to achieve and submit out

of state performances for consideration is Saturday, 3/13/2021. Please follow the

C. Check-In

1. After entering the main facility, athletes need to report to the registration table

for their BIBs & Pins.

2. Coaches/Chaperones will need to present their confirmation from Ticket Spicket

in order to enter that facility.

D. Results

1. Live Results can be found at lab.raceresults.live throughout the course of the

meet.

2. Complete Results will be posted on mitstrack.org upon completion of the meet.
