Hello Coaches,
I wanted to make sure you were all aware of the opportunity to compete at the Fleet Feet Maine Elite Invitational on Saturday, May 11th at St.Joseph's College in Standish, ME.
This will be one of the first opportunities in history for Maine high school athletes to compete across classes. Last year we hosted this event as a last chance meet for the SMAA and also a mile that was open to athletes from around the state. We put on a great event on a beautiful facility and received feedback that many would like to see this event opened to the entire state.
We have decided to open the meet to all Maine high school athletes this year. We will be capping the team entries at 20 to keep the meet on schedule. After the team entries are filled only individual athletes who meet the standard will be able to enter.
