Norwin's LAST CHANCE CARNIVAL gives athletes a last chance to qualify for WPIAL Finals. All events will be open. The meet is not intended for ENTIRE teams to attend and run ALL athletes,but give your athletes a chance to better their time/distance/height or to tune up for the following week's final. Athletes that enter should be WPIAL Final-caliber athletes. This meet is intended for athletes capable of competing in the following week's championship meet.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please only enter athletes that are in or on the bubble of making the top 24 in the WPIAL in AA or AAA. Any athlete entered not near standard may be REJECTED. Meet is NOT intended for entire teams. Field events will receive 4 trials.
REJECTED ATHLETES WILL BE POSTED by Noon Wednesday May 8th, 2024.
We will follow a normal Track & Field schedule of events. There will be no prelims or finals. All events will be FAT.
Date: Thursday May 9th, 2024
Place: Norwin High School Stadium
Facilities: FAT FinishLynx timing on 8-lane track, multiple jumping and throwing pits, all events on site. Possible Indoor PV pit if rain.
Start Time: 3:45 pm (coaches meeting @ 3:00 pm)
Registration Deadline: Tuesday May 7th, 2023 @ Midnight. ACCEPTED ENTRIES posted on Penn Track.
Cost: $15 per individual athlete.
*If team brings 5 girls and 5 boys, cost = $150
