This meet is broken into 2 divisions - K-2nd grade division and 3rd-4th grade division. Divisions will run separately according to gender, and each will be scored individually.  

Eligibility - all Louisville area catholic elementary school track and field student-athletes in grades K-4th are eligible. No student-athletes 5th grade or older may compete. Email briansoverns@gmail.com for the password to enter the meet.

Location - Assumption Green Sports Complex,

4500 Champions Trace Ln, Louisville, KY 40218

Time - meet begins at 1PM, coaches meeting at 12:30PM at the finish line.

Registration - Teams will use athletic.net to register their athletes for races. Running events will be seeded based on best times, per athletic.net. Registrations are due Tuesday, April 23rd at 11PM. All teams must submit entries on athletic.net by that date. No late entries will be accepted, and competitors cannot be added on meet day.

Timing - DC Timing (dct.live)

Admission - Adults - $5.00, Seniors - $3.00, 9th grade or older students - $3, 8th grade and under - Free

Concessions - will be available on site, gates open at 12PM

Participant Entry fees - $10 per competitor for up to 4 events (includes relay). Fees will be billed by the Ascension Parish office directly to each school for each participant registered (no shows included). You may also pay on the day of the meet at the coaches meeting/check-in. There will be a maximum entry fee of $100 per gender, per school, $200 entry fee maximum.

Limit of Events - Each participant is allowed to enter a maximum of 4 events, which includes the 4x100 meter relay. Any athletes competing in more than 4 events will have his or her points disqualified from all events. 

Entry Limits - in an effort to run an efficient and timely meet, we will be limiting each school to six entries per division, per event.

Field Events (Three Attempts Each) - Shot Put, Javelin, and Long Jump are all open pits and all attempts must be completed during the provided timeframe. Implements will be provided for Shot Put and Javelin. Student-athletes will be required to use the community implements.

Maximum of two warm up throws/run throughs will be given per student-athlete. It is the responsibility of the coach to get student-athletes to their events during the time frames listed below (tentative until entries are final).

Student-athletes not checking in during the allotted timeframes below will not be able to participate in the event.

Long Jump - there will be a modified board close to the pits edge to minimize fouls. Long Jump Pits are located in the southeast D-zone closest to the softball field.

K-2nd Boys Long Jump - 1PM-1:45PM - Pit 1

K-2nd Girls Long Jump - 1PM-1:45PM - Pit 2

3rd-4th Boys Long Jump - 1:45PM-2:30PM - Pit 1

3rd-4th Girls Long Jump - 1:45PM-2:30PM - Pit 2

Shot Put - (2KG - K-2nd Grade and 6LB - 3rd-4th Grade) Shot Put Pit is located between the track and softball field. Boys and Girls will participate together but results will be separated.

3rd-4th Shot Put (Boys and Girls) - 1:00-1:30

K-2nd Shot Put (Boys and Girls) - 1:30-2:00

Turbo Javelin - (300g - K-2nd Grade and 3rd-4th Grade Boys and Girls) Runway located at the Northwest D-zone (Closest to Champions Trace Lane/parking lot). Boys and Girls will likely participate together but results will be separated.

3rd-4th Grade (Boys and Girls) - 2:00-2:45

K-2nd Grade (Boys and Girls) - 2:45-3:30

Awards - Top 3 finishers in each event will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons at the awards table after results are verified. 4th-8th place finishers will also receive ribbons at the same time and place. Team trophies for the 1st and 2nd place team in each division will also be awarded.
