Rick and Wendy Schuler Invitational 2024

Tuesday April 23rd, 2024

• This is a WHSAA sanctioned qualifying track meet. 

• Team packets will be available at the coaches meeting held in the sheds located by the starting line. Coaches meeting will be at 10:30 am.

• Final running event scratch/add will be completed from 10:30 to 11:00 am in the stadium press box. Field event scratches will be handled at the event.

• Buses can load/unload and park in the North parking lot closest to the track.

• Weigh-ins for the throwing events and pole vault will be held in the sheds located by the starting line. All implements and vaulters must be weighed in between 10:00am to 10:30am. The judges at the shot put and discus rings will visually inspect each implement for verification. 

• 3/16 spikes are allowed. 

• No team camps allowed on the infield. All teams are responsible to clean up their area at the completion of the meet. Trash bags will be available.  Team camps this year will be in the parking lot.

• All races will be timed finals, see order of events.

• Throws: Each throwing event will be 3 throws (2-1 format) per athlete with top nine distances moving to finals. Throwers will throw 2 attempts, with the farthest being measured. Minimum Hog Line marks will be used for the next throw, see below. Any third attempt not clearing the minimum distance will not be measured.

• Horizontal Jumps: Each participant will be allowed 3 jumps with top nine distances moving to finals. 

• Vertical Jumps: Starting heights will be determined based upon entries and verified at the coaches meeting prior to the start.

• Concessions will be available.
