Named in memory of Coach Tom Putera who passed away suddenly in October 2022, the invitational is currently for Bicentennial Athletic League teams only.
The Tom Putera Invitational will be a FULL meet with all track and field events in 2024.
The meet will begin at 11 a.m. for both the first track and first field events.
Entry fees are $150 per team per gender OR $25 PER INDIVIDUAL PER EVENT (if one athlete runs 2 events, $50) payable to Dock Mennonite Academy.
Instructions will be sent to BAL coaches via email.
There is no team scoring for the meet. And there are no medals awarded this year.

Field events: 4 attempts, no finals for throws, long jump, triple jump.
Field events order:
11 AM High Jump (girls 4'0" starting height followed by boys 4'10")
Pole Vault (girls 6'0" starting height followed by boys 7'0")
11 AM Long Jump (boys followed by girls)
Triple Jump (boys followed by girls *may run as open pit due to time)
11 AM Girls Shot Put & Boys Discus
(first throws event to finish will move over to Javelin - likely girls -- and then next to finish moves to another open event....until throws are complete)
