Meet Information

Coaches,

 

We would like to invite you to the Franklin Parish

Invitational Meet to be held on Friday,

April 5th, at FPHS.

 For your entries, you will enter

your athletes on https://la.milesplit.com

You must

have your entries in by 8:00 on

Wednesday, April 3rd.If you

have Any questions regarding the entry process,

please let me know.

Entry Fee-$70.00 per boys' team and $70.00 per girls' team

($140 per school). Entry for spectators will be $5. You may pay team entries at

packet pick-up. The coach's scratch meeting will be at 3:15 in the hospitality

room in the concession stand.Field

events will begin at 4:00, with the 4x800 at approximately 4:30 and 4x200 at

approximately 5:15.

Packets may be picked up at the Scratch meeting.Packets will provide Heat/Lane assignments.

Two athletes are allowed to enter for each event and one

relay team for each school.

Athletes are to report to the check-in area one event before

their event.

Field Events will check in at the event site.

 Further Instructions:

 The visiting

bleachers will be used for as many teams as possible.

The north end of the

home bleachers may be used if necessary.

Please keep your athletes in the stands and off the field,

once running events begin.

*Spikes: Must be no

longer then inch.

*Javelin will be

contested in middle of football field.

*Shot and Discus will

be conducted on the practice field behind the football fieldhouse.

These athletes can

access the north gate of the track to cross for these events. NOONE else will

be allowed to use this gate. Once field events are over, this gate will be

locked.

*Meet will be

conducted according to LHSAA rules.

*Please bring your own blocks.

*There will be a concession stand under tents on the north/home side

of the track.

*Buses will park behind the visitor bleachers of the

football field in the grass parking lot. Teams will enter through the gate on

that side.

Awards:

Medals to

top 3 in individual events.

Team

trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place overall.
