COC TRACK and FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP

Cost of Admission: FREE
Starting Time: Field Events: 2:00 PM Running Events: 2:30 PM
Coachs Meeting: 1:20 PM in the finish line tent; Coaches packets provided.
Entries: Mo.milesplit.com- Entries are due by 9:00 am, Thursday, May 2nd, 2024
Entry Limit: You may enter up to 3 athletes per event and one team per relay.
There will be no prelims, the fastest heat will run last.
Changes/Scratches:Coaches can make changes to their entries up till the entry deadline. Scratches only,no adds, after the entry deadline. Scratches can also be made at the coachs meeting.
Entry Fee: $150 per team (Boys or Girls) or $300 per school (Boys & Girls)
Tents: Tents are allowed on the soccer field East of the track. Please be respectful of the artificial turf and do not stake your tent or leave a mess.
Locker Rooms: There are no locker rooms at this facility. Restrooms are located by the concession stand. Athletes are not permitted in the gym or school areas.
Spikes/Equipment: Up to 1/4 pyramid spikes or less. Violators will be disqualified. No spikes in the bleachers, or in the seat back chairs. Each participant will be responsible for their own equipment. Blocks will be furnished.
All implements will be weighed and certified from 3:00-3:45.
Bullpen: All running events will bullpen on the football field based on entry times with the exception of the 100/110 hurdles and the 100m dash. (Those will bullpen at the starting line)
Markings: Chalk and tennis balls can be used for marking purposes. Tape cannot be used.
Coaching Boxes: Will be provided. Only certified coaches in this area.
Hospitality Room: Located in the K226 in the gym area. The hospitality room is for coaches, administration workers and bus drivers only.
Scoring/Awards: Standard team scoring rules apply. We will medal 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Medals andteam plaques can be picked up at the press box at the conclusion of the meet.
Results: We are timing with the TRXC TIMING SYSTEM. Official results will be on mo.milesplit.com Live results will also be on Mo.Milesplit.com
Concessions:Concessions will be sold in the concessions stand on the west side of the stadium.
Spectator Areas: All running and jumping events can be viewed from the stadium bleachers or outside of the fencing. Spectator areas for discus, shot, and javelin will be marked and roped off.
Drop Off/Parking: WE DO NOT GET OUT OF SCHOOL UNTIL 3:40. Our parking lot will be very congested from 3:15pm-4:00pm due to parent pick up and students leaving campus. Students and spectators must use caution when crossing the entrance to get to the javelin and discus areas.
Buses should drop athletes and coaches off by the North end of the track. Buses need to then park at the baseball parking lot or at the churches across the street until school dismisses and school traffic diminishes. At this time, buses may relocate to the Performing Arts Center Parking lot on the North end of campus.
