We have been interested in hosting an event at Welcome Stadium for the past 5 or 6 years and when we heard the community was investing 30 million dollars to turn it into a world class track & field facility we knew the time had come to make it happen.

Thru a collaborative effort with Dayton Public Schools, Dayton Visitors Bureau and The Dayton Area Food Bank we were able to make The Hunger Games at Welcome Stadium a reality.



Our goal is 2 fold.1. To host a world class Track & Field Meet for young athletes from anywhere in the USA and 2. To address the issue of world hunger and food insecurity.
